GIU Faculty of Architectural Engineering
The Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering Program offers a unique multidisciplinary model that integrates technology and humanities, theory and application, aesthetics and architectonics. This dynamic platform of design excellence prepares graduates to deal with diverse local and global design challenges and embrace commitment to better and sustainable built environment. The program offers a variety of courses that address design, structures, history and theory, conservation and regeneration, construction, and management. After finishing the foundation platform, students can select one of two majors: Architectural Design or Interior Architecture. In each major, a set of specialization courses allow students to build solid and in-depth knowledge that qualifies them to pursue successful careers and make a difference.
The pedogeological core of the program embraces creative and collaborative approaches to design that enables students to experiment, test, develop, and materialize their ideas using the most up-to-date technologies with the support of local and international experts.
