Mr.Julius Georg Luy, Chairman of the German International University Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mansour, Co-Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Dr. Slim Abdennadher, President of the university, honored the top high school students from Egypt’s 27 governorates who meet the criteria for the full scholarships offered by the university. The Ceremony was held at the sister university “German University in Cairo”.

Connects 2024 Closing Ceremony

The German University in Cairo organized a series of workshops on design, AI and music in the German capital, Berlin. The workshops were attended by Dr. Ashraf Mansour, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the German University in Cairo; Advisor Ahmed Al-Ansari, representing Ambassador Khaled Galal, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Germany; Peter Greisler, General Director of the Federal Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Anke Riefenstahl, Commissioner for International Science Policy and Foreign Education and Research Policy at the Federal Foreign Office; Amina Demirovic-Kuhne, Mayor of the Reinickendorf District Office in Berlin; Dr. Michael Harms, Deputy Secretary General of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD); along with a number of prominent journalists, media professionals, and public figures from both Egypt and Germany. The aim was to achieve knowledge and cultural exchange between the Egyptian and German peoples.
