GIU aims at attracting a selection of academically outstanding, dynamic and creative high school graduates.
Accordingly, and based on the GIU admission evaluation process, students will be ranked and classified according to the following categories, each of which will have a specific deduction in the tuition as described in the scholarship section.

For International Students , tuition and fees will be paid in Euro as follows:

Category A: 3,780 Euro per semester

Category B: 4,375 Euro per semester

Tuition and fees are announced and are subject to change at the beginning of each academic year.
Other Fees
- A non-refundable GIU admission tests fees of 1200 EGP to be paid at the time of submitting applications.
- A deposit of 420 Euro or 10.000 EGP as insurance for use of labs (refundable at the end of academic studies after deduction of damages).
Payment Procedures
Upon receiving the “GIU Study Offer” (Conditional or Final), the student is required to proceed immediately with
Payment within the stated deadline.
For Egyptian Students :
- Cash Payments: Available at all Emirates NBD branches upon presenting a valid Payment Order.
- Card Payments: Accepted via credit/debit cards at the GIU Students’ Financial Affairs Office or online through the student portal.
For Non Egyptian Students:
The tuition and fees will be paid in Euro
- Cash Payments: Available at all CIB branches upon presenting a valid Payment Order.
- Card Payments: Accepted via credit/debit cards at the GIU Students’ Financial Affairs Office or online through the student portal
General Rules
- Payments by credit/debit card can be made on campus at the Financial Affairs Office or online.
- The Payment Order must be printed from the student portal prior to the deadline.
- Payments made after the deadline or with an expired Payment Order will not be accepted.
- Bank payments without a valid GIU Payment Order are considered invalid.
Remarks
- Students will maintain their category of Tuition and Fees so long as their overall GPA is better than 3.5 (German Grading System).
